where can i buy a master chief / stormtrooper costume?

i've been trying to find one but can't. help plz?

First, look at why you want to wear these costumes. For recognition, impress girls, win a costume contest, turn heads, etc. Second, figure out how to get these costumes. Most of the time, ebay is your answer. If you look hard enough, you will eventually find what you want. Be willing to dish out over $600 for a good quality armor. Most stormtroopers are made of ABS plastic. The material Polystyne can get good details but is lighter and weaker. Fiberglass is stronger but heavier. The FX version, the type most stormtroopers in the 501 wears is made of ABS plastic. Caution however, while it looks cool, the movement is limited. You can get a constant pinch while walking or hot days velcro may not hold together causing armor pieces to fall off. Many stormtroopers move to bikerscouts and others for mobility. The master chief armor I have was bought on ebay for $1000 although the quality can't compare to the FX. There are websites out there too if you google the armor you want. Determine how much you want to spend for quality and accuracy, or how stupid you want to look with a cheapo costume. Keep in mind that people with armor/costumes usually have alot more other armor/costumes and tend to move on and upgrade giving you deals for used equipment or a starter set.

You might narrow the search with the terms "Star Wars" or "Stormtrooper," if you need to. You can rent some very professionally made costumes or purchase them, too. You run the range of "cheap" to "Classy" online!
